this ship is the first energy-saving and environment-friendly bulk carrier in ice area built by shgsic for golden ocean group. the ship has total length of 227.2 meters, beam of 36 meters, depth of 20.35 meters, design draft of 11.5 meters, deadweight of 84,700 tons and speed of 14.1 knots. it is equipped with seven cargo holds, with a cargo capacity of about 105,000 cubic meters. during navigation, it is green, energy-saving and environmentally friendly, meeting imo tier iii emission standards. it has the characteristics of fast sailing speed, low energy consumption, and strong adaptability. in terms of energy consumption indicators, environmental performance and reliability requirements, it has reached the world level of the same type of ships. meanwhile, the ship complies with ice class ic (ib hull) standard for ships in ice area. it is classified by abs, with marshall flag.
the ship is the eighth ship delivered by shgsic this year. its successful delivery marks the further consolidation of shgsic in ice area bulk carrier construction technology, and the further improvement of 85,000dwt bulk carrier as main ship type product structure, which lays a solid foundation for the high-quality construction and delivery of subsequent products.

the ship was in the most critical month before launch. in order to avoid the impact of high temperature and rainy weather on the overall construction plan, the project team successfully completed the processing of the stern tube and the press assembly of the stern bushing through advance planning during the processing of stern shaft tube. the assembly and manufacturing department coordinated the manpower arrangement and successfully completed the installation of transom shaft and intermediate shaft through 24-hour shift work. in the process of unpacking large equipment, the project team cooperated with the engineering managers of the assembly and manufacturing department to form a party vanguard team, assisted the operation and procurement department to complete the unpacking inspection of the relevant equipment in time, and ensured the construction of the shaft and rudder system was completed according to the plan. eventually, the project team, together with various production departments, formulated a special construction plan and adjusted the construction sequence according to the seasonal construction characteristics of the ship, and completed the main hull molding node on july 26, 2 days ahead of the monthly plan.
in the next step, dsic tianjin will reasonably arrange the construction personnel around the launching node of the ship, strictly implement work plan, coordinate the management of key construction projects, and break through the key problems in each construction link in a targeted manner, so as to ensure the ship can realize the launching node on schedule. |
